Hello there mates. Around a month ago, I made a post about open world games, I tried a few open world games and honestly, I got kind of sick of open worlds. I've been looking into Rimworld though, mainly through ambiguousamphibian, and it seems like a ton of fun. And so I was very happy when I saw that it went on sale for a price I could afford. That being said, it is priced quite high.
Is the money really worth the game, or should I not be deceived by highlights on youtube that just show the fun parts of the game? '
Also, suggest any game on steam thats your personal favorite. I have very little experience playing roguelikes, but I dont know what got into me and I picked up Hades. And boy did I love it. I'm kinda close to finishing my first run but I can see myself coming back as there tons more to do. So, pleaes do recommend any game that you think is a must play
Also hows project zomboid?
Update: Bought Rimworld and already played for 7 hours and I got to experience the chaos in rimworld. A plague struck my colony and 2/3 of my colonists were down with the plague, and the one other guy (Kevin) was tending to them (one of them was his daughter) and doing all the other shit. So I just leave them in their beds and instruct this guy to go mine, as I was out of steel. I was inspecting the immunity% very closely because on of them progressed to extreme plague and I was kinda preparing myself for their loss. I then get a pop up saying 'Your colonist Kevin has died from a roof collapsing on him' (paraphrased). His daughter, who previously was kinda the backbone of my colony, got depressed and ended up sleeping for a whole week.
I survived tho, and I later discovered her stepmom, which raised her spirits.
