Lots of old forums said it couldn’t be done. Over a decade ago I convinced myself I needed a 3.5” chamber. I have never once used a 3.5” shell. I wanted something shorter and handier for tactical shotgun classes and home defense. A new barrel is nearly $800 and a new M2 more than that. I don’t need to buy a new gun. I had Briley cut the barrel of my old SBE II to 21” and rethread it for the original chokes. Love the result.
