So I don't consider myself an expert by any measure, but I am quite used to booking cheap flights.

I am trying to book the cheapest flights I can find with 2 carry-on bags from the north of the UK, preferably Manchester (UK) to Bangkok departing within the date range of 14/12 - 17/12 and then returning in January within the date range of 08/01 - 13/01.

The cheapest I am coming across are these flights through Google flights, flying with Gulf Air for £1720 which works out at £860pp.

I don't know if this is standard pricing for this time of year, but it seems to be a bit on the more expensive side of things. Can anyone tell me if there are ways to find cheaper flights that I might not be aware of? I'd even be willing to take personal baggage only if needs must.
