Hi Everyone!
I'm travelling solo to Portugal and will have 3 full days in the Algarve region. Deciding whether or not to rent a car or just use buses. Finding an auto car for about $140 CAD cause I can't drive Manual lol. Land in Faro and then have to find a way to Lisbon. Thinking of renting Faro to Faro and then train to Lisbon.
Wanting to hit the following places:
- Benagli Caves
- Lagos beaches
- Marinha beach
- Albuferia
- Other cool spots along the coast (comment for recs).
Am pretty confident with driving myself and not scared of roads or traffic but wondering if renting a car solo is a good choice? I will be staying at hostels, can you park your cars at hostels? Is there free parking around the spots?
Any tips or recommendations would be highly appreciated for how to explore Algrave within 3 days (any must see spots) and overall tips for Portugal!! Thanks in advance
