How to break the news…
Post Body

I applied to work at a great mom & pop 135, I like them, they like me, I might stay here awhile for the QOL, adda yadda. Anyway, I walk in the door, and I recognize another pilot who works there. A guy from a party in college like 8 years ago… and he is a moron with a holier than thou attitude. From listening to him talk, he’s still an idiot. The same day I’m catching up with a friend, and he randomly brings this guy up, he is douche and stirring up drama in the workplace and shit talking folks on Facebook and this site called Reddit . I feel sorry for the guy, and I’m always inclined to give people second chances, but the dumb (admittedly non-flying) shit was smack talking folks again and shitposting on the internet. He even went as far to say that I was hired cause my pops is a prominent pilot in this community and my employer might want to work with in the future (true).

Do I just go out and tell my boss? I don’t think the guy knows that I know he made comments … Is it any of my business? just hope he goes to a different shift I guess 🤷‍♂️
