So I had my first flight lesson with another instructor a couple days before todays flight and I only have 0.7 hours logged in my logbook. I’m trying out multiple instructors to find out which one fits best for me. We did todays flight and I did pre-flight, taxi, run-up, and take-off pretty much all by myself with instructors assistance with rudder pedals. We did slow flight and basic maneuvers and turns and making sure to stay coordinated. Then he let me enter the 45° downwind and all the way to final and only helped with rudders once I touched down. It was a rough landing but not extremely rough as to be expected with only 0.7 hours logged (after today 1.6 hours logged) but does this mean I’m already making tremendous progress with my flight training? As I’ve heard it takes around 5 hours to start learning to land but even making a full landing attempt on my own. Or am I just excited about landing on my own and this whole thing is normal?
Am I airline material? When can i transition to 747 jumbo?
