Good times to take a holliday / vacation / be away from work?

I have worked hard so far this year that I have 7-8 weeks saved, and I wondered when is the most optimal time to use them.

So far I have:

1 day before the SSL certificate expire.
(Make sure HSTS is preloaded, and that certbot/renewal service "mysteriously" fails)
When a new employee begins.
(To show dominance)
When a new boss begins.
(To show dominance)
When said boss and/or employee need user accounts.
(To show ... (you know...))
Before Microsoft releases a VMXNET3 patch.
