Bet theres a Borg set, them having a Queen and all. Maybe the opposing is Janeway and her crew. In that case, red shirts will be pawns - 'cause why not, Janeway the queen, we can make harry kim the king, cause he's only good as a plot device and dosen't really go anywhere. Chakotay the Knight, the Doctor the Bishop, cause he's full of himself. Paris can be the Rook 'cause he hasn't much depth, more of a narrow line himself. The other Knight could be B'ellana, and just to round it out Neelix as the second Bishop and Tuvok as the second Rook. Now, I would make the Borg Queens "King" 7 of 9, because it could symbolize the "salvation" of her from the Borg.
