Why do Betazoids hate humans so much?

Post Body

I need to tell you guys about my first experience in space, and it really soured me on the whole thing.

I managed to get myself onto a Betazoid research ship. Let me tell you guys, I had never seen so many hotties in one place in my entire life. But their personalities are absolutely awful. Maybe it was because I was the only human on the ship, or maybe they're all speciest, but they absolutely hated me for no reason.

Like there was this one Betazoid, she (and quite a few other crew) were running through my mind all the time if you know what I mean. She was nice to everybody else, but she hated me. It was like she had a sixth sense because every time I entered a room and saw her from behind she would turn and give me this dirty look like she wanted to leave me in an airlock. If I needed to talk to her about one of the projects she would get somebody else and they would just hand me a PADD and walk off. She did talk to me once. She said I was disgusting and walked away. WTF? The whole time I was on the ship the only time anybody talked to me it was to berate me for no reason.

It wasn't just her, it was everybody. I thought the captain would be above this but the first time I talked to her she told me she knows I'm human and wants to give me a chance, but if I didn't behave I'd be off the ship.

Honestly I just don't understand what the hell was going on. Does anybody else have this problem with Betazoids? Do they hate all species or just humans? Was this some hazing thing I don't know about?

Edit: I didn't know they could read my mind.
