It's what I found when I looked up the class icon, it said someone made scaled-up versions of the Sage and Reaper icons. So I think it is? But it didn't come from the official website so don't trust me 100% on that
when you click on academian on the wiki though it takes you to scholar?

It's pretty common for main story characters to switch their main job whenever new expansions come out; not all of them do this, though. Alphinaud has been an Arcanist (which goes into Scholar) since the very beginning, but with the new expansion he's going to be switching to Sage, the new healing class.
