TLDR At the bottom. So around December as usual I logged onto FFXIV and went straight to the Red Light Railing in the Quicksands for some quality RP. Along the way is a row of semi-naked catgirls sitting and standing around, and one afk cat girl caught my eye. Her profile said she was into snuggling and lap sitting *winky face* as well as tanking content! I sent her a friend request and a whisper that I would love to run content through with her, and went about my way. I played a large male highlander boi (rawr) btw.

Several hours later she accepts my friend request! We get to talking and run a roulette together, but then one of us had to go. I asked if she wanted to keep talking on Discord, and she said yes! So we keep talking, and talking, and talking, and talking. We are messaging each other 24/7 about games we like to play, our parses, etc. Our friendship grows, we start to play other games together and watch movies, and exchange pics. Turns out she actually was a girl irl! At some point we just started dating and it's been amazing ever since. When we would log in for the night we found ourselves playing other games except ffxiv, and both eventually quit and uninstalled. I still just lurk around this reddit because of the great community btw, and sometimes I have to check the other karma farm subreddit to see what you all are referencing.

Anyways, we decided to finally meet irl after her final exams. I leave tomorrow to spend a week with her! I am so excited and nervous. I just wanted to give you all some hope that you really can meet the love of your life in this great game I don't play anymore! Since I don't play anymore, does that make me a ffxiv refugee? Also some people said to be careful that she might be a catfish. I don't understand because Namazu aren't a playable race.

TLDR - met a girl in game, started hanging out online and dating, fly to Canada to spend a week vacation with her tomorrow.
