My wife and I were just blessed with a perfect and beautiful little girl. Before her birth, my blood relatives (my mother, maternal grandmother, my half-sister and step-father) came up to visit. The original plan was for them to come up AFTER her birth. My wife and I asked them to wait before coming up. For them to let us bond with our daughter and wait. I come to find out through social media that my mother disrespected my wife's and my boundaries and intended on coming up anyway. (This is a five hour drive for them... by the way.) So, I stated, in no uncertain terms, I told her to not come. She stated that I disrespecting her right as a grandparent. That she just wanted to see HER granddaughter. (Meanwhile, she tells my wife 'he was mine first but I don't mind sharing him...', 'we'll see if you are still together in five years...') well, now... she is trying to state that my wife unfriended my family (which if she did... I don't blame her.) But I also wouldn't put it past my family to unfriended her. (My mother runs my little sister's Facebook and is the manipulative, narcissistic southern woman whose church runs more like a cult than anything else...
