So I’m currently on a cruise. And I just saw this really old looking ship being towed by two smaller ones. I’m trying to read what it’s name is but the iPhone has a potato camera.
I found the other two ships and added screenshots at the end. The big one isn’t on VesselFinder though.
It looks cool and I was just curious if there is any info about how old it is, what its purpose was, where it’s from and what gonna happen to it.
The big one is FPSO Capixaba on its way from Brazil to be scrapped in Denmark. FPSO stands for Floating Production Storage and Offloading. They're semi-permanantly moored at an oilfield to take in the crude from surrounding wells, process it on board, and stores it temporarily until a tanker can pick it up.

I can tell it's an FPSO by the way it is
