DexNav + Shiny Charm Question

Does anyone know if the shiny charm and DexNav search odds stack when searching for a shiny i.e. do you have a better chance of finding a shiny with both the DexNav and shiny charm or does having the shiny charm not affect the DexNav odds? I can't seem to find a clear answer, if anyone knows that would be a great help.
