Ok so listen up. U know how the first episode is called, "To you, In 2000 years"? Well, what if it meant that the events didnt take place back in time, it actually is documenting what is going to happen in 2000 years! And the time machines? Well, they're the titans of course! Think about it, when Eren transformed into a titan to pick up the boulder, he saw himself in his own house, with his mom and dad and young Mikasa. Which means Eren went back in time to his "hometown", where he feels safe. Thats what BRA meant when they said they had to go back to thier "hometown". They were talking about a place in time (probably the future) where there was peace. And most likely, humans are gonna fuck up that peace time, and thats why they had to destroy them. But when BR told Eren to come with them, they said they would never touch the walls again. Since they are from the future, they knew that without Eren, the humans wouldn't be able to survive. (Either by titans, or chaos due to lack of governmental control.) Those are my thoughts. Anyone have anything to add?
