The form factor could house a more powerful SoC, but the article doesn’t have details on the internals. I would think there will be some functionality to differentiate this new device from existing Chromecasts. However, this is Google, so who knows.
I'm wonder what would be the specs for this box, given Google is known for not going over the top with their devices to also have a fairly competitive price.
I still have my faithful 2015 Shield TV, but it would be nice knowing there are other option in the market for when I need to replace it.
