How to know if I was asleep or in trance?

Hello all. I first discovered Shibby some years ago, but i was never able to trance, and after some time of trying and never reach trance I stopped listening.

Some days ago I start again with the “my good boy” series and today after some days something strange happen I was very relaxed listening and then I awake and the file was reaching to the end and I couldn’t remember anything from the files, only the beginning.

I don’t know if I just fell asleep while listening or if I finally reach trance and I wanted yo know if there’s a good way to differentiate this to states.
