It started with needing "just $0.10 to get your whole order free!"

The first link took off $0.05 and had a message saying the chance of winning was "high" if you invite another.

Four more invites later I'm at "$0.01 left to go". A new currency to gather is introduced. Of course they gave me 60/100 gold coins to start. From here out I no longer received the original $$ currency. After yet another 3 invites I'm at 95/100 coins.

The next invite introduces another currency to gather and they so generously gave me 40/100 stars. From here out I never recieved a single coin.

7 invites later. The offer expires and all attempts to following invite links result in the helper getting an error message saying "Assistance Failed".

Shein is gross. It's a disgusting business model. They're actively under investigation racketeering. To save you some reading, they steal art, designs, and other intellectual property from the original creators produces them in factories with no regard for human rights.

It's quite the rabbit hole if you're interested. Lesson learned, stop giving them money.
