Idk why this sub is on my feed since I haven’t properly watched Shane since all the controversies happened, but I used to be a huge fan of his from his Shanaynay days (I know, I know…). So because of that, I remember a lot of the pets he used to have and from my understanding, dumped on his mom. He deleted the old vlogs he had where he got each one, but you can find a few photos of them online from screenshots of his past vids.

There was Miley the corgi, who was named after Miley Cyrus—I think he had asked his fans to name her for him and at the time he was obsessed with Miley Cyrus, so he thought it was funny the fans chose that name. He got Miley because he had always wanted a dog.

Then there was Charlie the golden retriever. I wanna say he only had Miley for a few months/maybe a year before he got Charlie? He claimed he had always wanted a big dog. They were both living with him at this point, but this was when he was getting more popular, and I think was still living in an apartment.

Then a couple years later he got another corgi, Chocolate. I remember being surprised when he got Chocolate because he kind of stopped having his other two dogs in his vlogs. It was around this point I realized he only really cared about puppies, and got bored with them once they grew up. I think by this point he was living in a house, so he had enough room.

I’m not really going to count Corny—the dog he got with Lisa when they were together because she ended up keeping her (thank God she did).

By this point I remember seeing a vlog of his where he visited his moms house and all his dogs were living there. I remember he made a joke to his mother about wanting to get a dog, and his mother got stern with him and said that she didn’t want him to get another dog because she already had a lot to take care of.

I also remember being very thrown off when he got his cat, Cheeto. If I’m remembering correctly he had stated that he got Cheeto because he had never had a cat before when he was little and had always wanted one. But that’s a fucking lie. In his older vlogs he had two cats—one was named Muffin that he had cameo in vids and would talk to because muffin would respond back, and I never got the name of the other cat— it was rarely on film.

When he got Uno I rolled my eyes and wondered when he’d end up at his moms place or if Ryland would be the one to take care of him (which in later vlogs shortly after they got him seemed to be the case since Ryland mentioned they would go on jogs together daily and Shane never bothered to even walk him).

I was not impressed when he adopted Honey. She’s very beautiful, but the animal count is now 5 (3 of which being his OG pets that he never mentioned so newer viewers who never knew about them).

I had stopped watching him at that point and would sometimes just look at his thumbnails out of curiosity since he was cancelled. Found out he had gotten a kitten for whatever reason, that then passed away because one of the dogs got to it without being supervised, and then it died.

And now I see he got ANOTHER fucking dog? Seriously? That makes 8 animals! I don’t have an exact timeline but he must have gotten Miley around 2009 or so, Charlie maybe later that year or in 2010, Chocolate maybe in 2012? Muffin was his childhood cat or something along those lines.

Heck, I was surprised he even mentioned on twitter when Miley passed away, considering I hadn’t seen him mention her in a legit decade.

And I’ve heard him and Ryland are having a kid together? Shane can’t even commit to his pets, or marry his partner. And they’re having a baby together. Wow.

If someone made a similar post like this then my bad, I just lightly skimmed this sub and only saw people mentioning the pets he’s gotten in the past couple of years. Obviously since there isn’t any video evidence you can only take my word—hopefully other people remember these pets too.
