For context, my husband and a couple of guys that he knows have formed a group that ghost hunts. During the few months that they have investigated (they do this on the weekends, so not as often as you would think), they have had a few encounters with... some things. Anyway, throughout this process of their investigations, one of the "founders" started a FB page and they have come into contact with a few people, and one of those people claims to be an empath. Now, I'm not saying the word 'claim' to be insulting. They have only spoken on the phone, as she (the empath) lives in another state. I tend to be jaded and cynical, but I am leaning heavily towards believing her.

To actually make the point of this post, last night was a clusterf**k of an "investigation". They came into contact with something that was dark and unfortunately, the empath had to be disturbed through a phone call. She was able to help as much as she could but considering she is in another state, she told them they needed to find a shaman and a seer closer to us than she was. I highly agree with her. I chewed their backsides out last night (2 out of 3, because I was not talking to the other guy as he was making things worse and I was very angry with him) because they're not as prepared and knowledgeable as they should be. They're not trained enough and pretty amatuer-like.

I have decided to be proactive and try to do something. I know you can't just Google a phone number out of thin air for something like this, but I have seen some pretty impressive things come out of Reddit and I decided it was at least worth the shot of gaining some information.

So, I guess the point of this post is asking, how I can go about trying to find someone more local than the empath that we talk with through phone calls.
