I had a few questions about the wild die.
I understand how it counts as triple if it hits, but wipes out all 5s if it is a 1. But what I don't understand is if there is a limit to how many wild dice you can have in a roll.
Basically my confusion comes from a line in the core book on overdriving ware, where you get 2 extra dice and then it says " One of the bonus dice must be a wild die."
Does that mean that you can choose to make both of the bonus dice wild dice?
Could two different effects that both give wild dice have you rolling more than one wild die on a roll?
There seems to be nothing in the core book that says a roll can only have one wild die. It just says to use a different colored die for a wild die so you can tell it apart.
Do you have to be told by a rule on gear or magic or something to change a die to a wild die, or for any roll could I just decide that I want any or even all of the dice to be wild dice?
I understand the mathematical risk of more wild dice knocking out all your 5s including any that might have been on a wild die and be tripled. But sometimes you have to ignore the odds and take a chance on doing something cool.
