I have been using shadow on my Macbook Air 2020 (M1) for around a year with no issues until the migration. Sound will not play through my local speakers regardless of how I set them up on my mac (through the local speakers or through a headset).
I have attempted to:
Reset the Shadow PC (2x) sound will work for a while and then just stop
Update/Re-install/Enable/Disable sound drivers even going as far as to download the Realtek drivers as that's what I have done to fix windows sound issues at work (I work in IT)
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the shadow client on my mac with full cache cleanouts between each re-install.
I also have tried the USB setting I saw in another post as well as resetting all shadow settings to see some difference. (back to default then I messed with them then back to default)
Windows is updated obvs.
Essentially the only thing I haven't tried is a factory reset of the MacBook - I can do this easily because all my data is cloud, however, it would be a pain to do as just a troubleshooting step.
Is anyone else having these issues? What have you done to resolve this?
