Using the official DS4 wireless adapter with Shadow creates no lag with full rumble and gyro control, but there is latency when plugged directly into Shadow. Is this a Windows or Shadow issue?

This is compared both using the same USB 3.0 port on my Shadow for USB over IP, and you'd think the addition of the adapter would add more lag but it completely clears it up; I feel no difference btw this and playing a game on my PS4.

So is the problem based on how Windows interacts with a Dualshock 4 plugged in via USB and the wireless adapter is somehow modding/improving the connection or is this an issue with Shadow and maybe the adapter somehow reduces the bandwidth?

Tl/dr: both the DS4 directly plugged into Shadow and connected to the DS4 adapter into Shadow use USB over IP, so why is there no lag only with the adapter
