Any way to fix controller input lag from USB over Ip on ghost?

So I noticed a significant lag with DS4 when using USB over Ip (e.g having my controller plugged into the USB 3 port) vs using Bluetooth on my ghost which has no lag.
I'd rather use USB as it makes rumble and gyro compatible, but the lag makes games basically unplayable.
