We need a "Display Safe Mode" for Android and a general ability to set Native Res.

Post Body

The new update basically ruined display options for me. As now whenever I start up all my custom resolutions are gone, and it sets my display to 1440x900 regardless of what device I'm using.

This isn't too big of an issue specifically (just annoying) the PC and Mac client bc it has a safe display mode so then it reverts to 1080p. But the problem is mostly on Android bc that option isn't availible.

So now if I want the native 1080p on any device that isn't Mac or PC, I first have to log into Shadow on a Mac or PC then continue streaming on my other device. Which is annoying and also worse bc I travel a lot but keep a small android controller with me. Now I have to keep a laptop as well.

So for games like The Evil Within which only scale to "native" resolutions, I basically have to play them at low quality if I don't have a computer around.

If the safe display mode was on Android that would help but a better feature would be to set a resolution from the launchers so Nvidia thinks that is the native res.

I've used both beta and non beta launchers. I've also suggested this to Shadow directly but they probably didn't see it.

Update, Shadow responded. They don't see to understand what I'm saying. Their first answer was linking me to how to set up a custom not native display. When I responded their answer was "we don't have a safe display mode option on Android" 😕
