okay so like most of the people in this group I’ve been sextorted by someone i met online. I’ll save all the details because most of them are similar to many others stories here but a few things have me still feeling uneasy and I just want to see what you guys think is happening.

This happened around 6 months ago, but i met someone on omegle who claimed they wanted to send each other pics and what not. They said they were 18 and we took the conversation to Snapchat (where they were able to grab my real name).They sent me a face photo then a provocative photo of “them” and after sending my nude photo to them they then sent me a screenshot of my nude (which it never said they screenshotted) and said they were underage and that they were gonna report me if i didn’t donate money to a charity site, that seemed to be legit. I told them i couldn’t and they said they were gonna report me and I blocked them.

Again that happened 6 months ago, now flash forward to about a month ago. I started receiving follow requests on instagram from different accounts. The first few had the same profile photo used to catfish me back in December but then i started getting various different accounts all with the same or different girls but very similar bios request to follow me and this has been going on about a month now on and off.

Anyone have any experience w this type of sextortion or have any idea why they might still be following me? Do they still have my photos and are these still the same people back from December? I’m just nervous as I’m going into senior year of college and I’m scared this will affect my career.

As of today i deactivated instagram again but I’m worried that it’s been 6 months and still I’m getting these follow requests.I know not to let them follow me but when if ever will they stop and why start being so aggressive now

2nd edit: just some more information: the first account used to follow me has grown by almost 1500 followers in a few weeks
