So like a lot of the posts on here...was chatting with someone from reddit, moved to telegram, sent a photo that had my face in it (I never do that, I'm kicking myself) and then she asked for a photo of my d so I sent that as well.

She asked my name, I used the name I use on reddit (not my real name), she asked where I was from (I gave a near by city, not where i actually live).

They then said that they wanted money from me, or they were going to share my photos, ruin my life and say that I'd been messaging minors (they told me they were 22).

I told them I had no money, so it very quickly went from wanting £500 down to they wanted me to get them a £10 gift card for steam. I told them I was at work so it would have to wait. They stopped messaging me, I blocked them on telegram (my phone number is hidden on there).

Am I safe? They don't have my Instagram, my Facebook, Snapchat, anything.... once I know that this is settled for certain, I'm deleting reddit/discord/telegram etc (already cleared chats and post history). I think I've got lucky? Please tell me I've got lucky?

also, thank you so much for this community, reading these posts and the support you've provided one another has really calmed me down
