To summarise, I had been asked by a partner to be more vocal during sex - not in terms of moaning etc. but he wanted me to be more expressive, about what I want, what I like, stuff like that. I was asking for advice about how to achieve that as I had realised that I don't speak a lot during sex and struggle to find words in the moment.

Firstly thank you to the couple of people who commented on my original post & the several more who sent me DMs with ideas & advice. I thought about it & took some of the things that I thought would work best for me. Yesterday evening I got to try them out properly as I was seeing the same guy again...

So firstly, in the meantime we have been continuing to chat a lot & on the conversations that go towards sex etc., I've tried to start putting some of my thoughts into practice. Stuff like telling him things that I like doing, for example, or asking him to please do something when we next meet... This in itself seemed to go down quite well & it started getting me used to putting stuff like that into words more deliberately than I have done before.

Well.... Whatever it was exactly that clicked, it worked!! We had some frankly amazing sex (last time it was already very very good) & right from the get-go I was a lot more vocal. A lot of what I said at first was just confirming I liked what he/we were doing, when something felt good, that sort of thing. Then after a good amount of foreplay, I told him how much I wanted to fuck him. As things went on I got more & more loud & vocal, even saying his name at one point (not something I think I've ever actually done during sex before with anyone haha) & omg - I could tell it turned him on to hear me, which in turn made me feel even more turned on.... Ooof it was so good!

So I'm completely converted now - won't be any shutting me up in the future I think 🤣
