We are SWers but we are people, first and foremost.
Wondering if anyone ever thought, is doing or have succeeded on gaining popularity that is not about SW.
For example:
You were a SW before and now... You’re a well-known stylist in your city You’re on radio/ podcast totally unrelated to SW You’re a renowned and respected academic. TED Talk Material
Or you’re a SW now and you spend days off the clock with Your day job that involves being in public ex. being an actress, on real estate You have a business and it counts on your personal brand. For example, you are Jamie and you own a gluten-free bakery named Jamie’s bakery and it’s really popular not just because of the good stuff but you as Jamie, has some kind of influencer status among the gluten free bakers and consumers You run a popular food/fashion/travel/pet/lifestyle blog and people know you as THAT and not your SW stuff
Or you’re currently a SW and ever thought of starting these things that are totally or related to SW:
- Blog, Vlog, Podcast, IG, Twitter and anything media related about an interest close to your heart
- Founding your own company.
If you would do these things would you decide to be anonymous or not?
I’ve personally thought of wanting to make more impact by speaking up and gaining influence to use it for good.
But I have this chip over my shoulder. SW Holding me back to go balls to the wall to pursue my creative passions.
What would you do or have done? We’d love to be inspired by your thoughts or the paths you’ve taken.
Love and light xx
