First time client with questions

Hi all! I’m newly arrived in my city and quarantine has really put a damper on meeting people. So I’ve been thinking about supporting this industry. Unfortunately I have no idea how to go about it and the last thing I want is to make someone uncomfortable (being scammed would also suck) or cross lines I didn’t know were there. Does anyone have tips for avoiding scams and being the best client possible? I’d rather not be the only one happy at the end. Thanks!
