How much do we control?

Like how much of our earnings are 100% in our control? I want to see $5k-$10k weeks but how can I control the flow of clients? What can I realistically do to reach this goal? I haven’t even seen an actual client this month and I have my ad in 4 sites. The only money I’ve made all month was from a future booking send me money for a video chat. This business really tests my self esteem and mental strength. I desperately want more money but I can’t force the clients to see me.
