This is more than just a rant, but I’m just fed up. Idk if it’s because I travel often, and don’t really have a connected group of regular people around. But I’m annoyed because it seems like every other week I have to deal with a situation where my whole day or week is turned upside down, because I can’t rely on anybody to be consistent. This goes for friends and clients.

The latest is just this weekend: I was staying with a friend out of state, however I wasn’t getting any bookings. So naturally I didn’t really have the extra to spend and go book a room. What I was told to be staying a week, turned into 4.5 days. So then I have to come out of pocket for a hotel that I really didn’t want to begin with, all because my “friend” has some personal issues that had nothing to do with me.

Meanwhile not having the bookings I expect is pushing me to rely on these shady people in the first place. My only booking in the area I’m on tour in this week: a 1 a.m. outcall made at 11:40 on an hour away. What the fuck? And I’m telling him like: no bro, that’s way too last minute I would have needed to known earlier. And of course, can’t schedule the next day because of something that’s not my fault in the first place.

On top of that, 3 other guys I know here, either blocked me or stood me up for no reason. So now I’m here in a city, don’t know anybody, where I’ve wasted money and had no Saturday night plans. I’m tired of people’s stupidity and games. I’m even considering just deactivating my Facebook because I can’t even be bothered seeing these fake people everyday online who aren’t even real friends either.
