One of my clients travels a lot and gets amazing perks with the brand he is loyal to. I also often hear from providers that they prefer to book directly for the perks and rewards.
However, through my mid range personas, I have to keep overhead low, particularly with clients who are only booking an hour. The difference between 3rd party rates and the actual hotel rates make a difference that I canβt ignore.
But I want to know what you guys do and your reasons. Do you prefer 3rd party rates or booking directly through the brand for perks?
