How would I find work in my area right away?

Tldr: living in an extended stay motel, no money, we've asked friends and family for a lot of money recently.
We need a decent amount of money ASAP. I don't have any clue how to "advertise" or whatever you want to call it for my area to try to find work or clients. I looked at the how to get started page and idk. Does anyone have any advice?
