Tryst is really the only directory I recommend to people without a qualifier. ie Any mention of any of the other directories always comes with a "but" eg it's popular in your location but their customer service is awful/ their advertising fees are outrageous/ they're rumoured to pass our identities to USA border control/ their site looks 20 years out of date and is almost impossible to navigate/ they have a habit of taking ads offline with no warning or explanation and not refunding users/ they do no verification so their site is full of scammers/ 99% of messages you get there will be from timewasters and so on.

The tryst blog is awesome and the work Tryst does to further our causes eg for decrim, is invaluable.

The expanding team at tryst seems to have greatly reduced the number of "why is my tryst taking months to get approved" posts we used to see.
