So, I’ve been chatting with a prospective partner, and she’s all gung-ho about getting a deposit (which I understand) but I’ve been ghosted and catfished tons. I’m all set up to send the deposit, but am I wrong to ask her to send me something to verify who she is? A SFW pic, with a date and time on a piece of paper? She has pics/videos on the platform we are using to chat (Telegram) so her face is already out there. I requested the verification and now she sent a voice note (not the pic I requested) accusing me of wanting to set up a fake account in her name or scam HER?
Doesn’t verification work both ways for safety?
