Not sure if this is the right place because I was only ever in online sex work, but I want to know if other people have had similar experiences.

I did different types of online SW off and on for a while, camming, private Snapchat etc and gained a decent following, but have been mostly retired for 2-3 years. I deleted all the accounts with my old usernames, and tried to get all the pictures and videos wiped.

The thing is, I still regularly get messages from former clients and I don’t know how they’re finding me, or why? They’re mostly innocent, asking me to come back or similar, but I recently received a fairly threatening email where they claimed to know where I lived and had personal details about me, even mentioning my birthday and knowing that I had recently moved. I have made sure ALL my personal social media accounts are either private or impossible to find, although I rarely post. Part of the reason I stopped online SW was the threats and scary encounters.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? What should I do?
