It's common knowledge that there are fake ads, full of scammers. Usually that goal is to get gullible men to send deposit.

However what is the motivation or reason for giving someone an address, have them get there, and just ghost them, or make up excuses why they aren't out yet.

It very rarely happens. But I would say it's happened to me 3x in the last 5yrs. Just weird, and I don't understand what they gain from it. Since they're no asking for deposit. Just satisfaction of toying with us?

Has any other clients had this?

I also want to mention that this is including when providers double book. I've experienced a few of those. Providers are always upfront. Or communicative.
