Client claiming not to have cash?!
Post Body

I always take payment in cash only & the deposit I take electronically… The appointment was scheduled for tomorrow evening. He paid the $150 deposit & agreed to have cash when I arrived.

A few hours later, he claims he couldn’t find an atm with money asking again for me to take the full payment on Venmo & I said no.

I gave him back the deposit when he asked for it because I didn’t want him blowing up my Venmo account but I’m so fucking pissed & I feel like he was trying to scam me. I really wanted to charge him a fee for the inconvenience, but he did let me know ahead of time (the appointment was scheduled for tomorrow) plus I didn’t want him trying to report my account or call me a “scammer”.

What do y’all think? Was he trying to scam or he really was just too lazy to go to an atm ?
