I always take payment in cash only & the deposit I take electronically⌠The appointment was scheduled for tomorrow evening. He paid the $150 deposit & agreed to have cash when I arrived.
A few hours later, he claims he couldnât find an atm with money asking again for me to take the full payment on Venmo & I said no.
I gave him back the deposit when he asked for it because I didnât want him blowing up my Venmo account but Iâm so fucking pissed & I feel like he was trying to scam me. I really wanted to charge him a fee for the inconvenience, but he did let me know ahead of time (the appointment was scheduled for tomorrow) plus I didnât want him trying to report my account or call me a âscammerâ.
What do yâall think? Was he trying to scam or he really was just too lazy to go to an atm ?
