My first time there wasn't an "Internet" presence like there is now. I literally had a Yellow pages and saw "escorts" under adult entertainment and decided to give them a call.
I remember I actually had to go to an office downtown and talk to the receptionist and sign a paper that said "I'm OK with nudity...." and a whole mess of other weird legal things. I was 22 at the time and pretty nervous.
because it was a pretty religious state, the strip clubs were basically useless and were only pasties and thongs. I was a typical straight male and wanted to explore the female form. So a few days later, I saw my first escort. I didn't ask for FS. I asked for a striptease and she grabbed my hands and I touched a "real boob" for the first time.
Times sure have changed on how we contact sex workers now. It's hard to imagine a time before internet ads. You either had to know someone who knew someone, roam the streets and if you asked someone, hope they don't get offended if they weren't actually a working girl, or risk it by going to a "club" and see if the were working gave extras.
I don't think there are many providers left that remember a time before the internet when providing. Everyone is so young compared to when I got started.
Do you remember your first?
