It seems very scammy to be asked to pay a deposit without any proof that the SW is legitimately going to provide the service.
A friend is currently talking to a SW online who has verified she is really the person in the photos. They’re asking for a deposit in order to book. It just seems like a total scam for horny dudes, but if this is common practice, come someone explain why my friend should trust them?
Also, leaving an online trail of transactions? Seems sketchy!
Why wouldn’t money upfront make more sense for everyone?
Curious to hear people’s thoughts!
Deposits are very common and something a client is going to have to be comfortable with if they’re wanting to see a SW. If you only knew the amount of people we go through who aren’t serious and just wanting to waste our time, you’d understand. Deposits verify you’re serious and they also help compensate for our time if the client decides to not show up/has cold feet.
