Hi, I’m a security researcher that has a nack for OSINT (Open-Source intelligence) and finding people aka DOXXING (only I don’t put the info out online). I have come to find that those working in this industry are very susceptible to this kind of attack.
Don’t use your personal phone # - setup a sideline or textnow number just something that’s not associated with your gov name Just from a phone number alone, I can usually find the victims name, email addresses, personal accounts, home addresses and more
Keep your personal non-work profiles private
Don’t use the same username that you’ve used for personal accounts
Never open a link someone sends you, it could look like instagram facebook, etc and when you click on it I can get your general location, your username/password, etc
Expect the unexpected. Websites like pimeyes have now been able to do facial recognition to find identical faces throughout the internet.
If you are unsure if your accounts are secure feel free to dm a link to your public work profile. I’ll review it and see if I can find you, then I’ll tell you exactly how I was able to do it and also how you can fix it.
