Is it okay to confirm the costs during the email communication before meeting with someone new? It seems like this is one of those things you are supposed to avoid ā as in, you just say the length of time and you both know what that means because the rate is on the websiteā¦..
But, a lot of providers have very complicated āInvestmentā sections of their websites ā and sometimes there are strange discrepancies. Like, one providerās website has a lower cost per hour for a one-hour session than a 2-hour session. (As in, the cost for a 2 hour session is way more than two 1 hour sessionsā¦.even though she says she prefers longer engagementsā¦.). And her costs for couples appear to be lower than her costs for single men? That seems unusual. She also gives discounts for women, but they are SO much lower than her standard rates that Iām worried she forgot a digitā¦..should I be worried that her rates page may be inaccurate? Or are you supposed to just trust that the provider understands their own preferences and has a good reason for scheduling things the way they did?
Anyway, the last thing I want is to hand over an envelope for what I believe we agreed on, but she had thought I was booking for something else. Is there a classy way to confirm weāre on the same page? Or is talking directly about money in the communication going to get you blocked like being explicit will.
(Iām in the US and full service is not legal.)
