Posted about my recent first time sapphic experience with a sex worker…we live in a society that encourages people to leave “5 star reviews” for everything and so I registered a free account with TER to lend her my support.

I haven’t read any of the other reviews because I don’t have a paid account, but even looking at the form, I felt like it was really dehumanizing. I don’t really feel comfortable rating her attractiveness on a 10 point scale from “I was scared” to “homely” to “okay if you are drunk” etc….and then her performance on a scale that includes phrases like “barely worth the effort” and “should have stayed home.”

So I was just going to forget about it and not leave any reviews, but do reviews really help SWers? I do want to be supportive. Is it better to leave a minimalist clean review? Or is it better to just ignore the review pages entirely?

Edit: Thank you ❤️so much❤️ to the folks who have replied saying that you should always ask first before leaving a review. I had no idea and this is such a good thing to know.
