This was back in my college days and early 20's. I was a male stripper for mostly bachelorette and birthday parties - Couple times at events at night clubs for promotions/events.

No 10/10 woman is going to hire you because they saw your ad. Women are much different and need to feel comfortable with you. I accidently dabbled on this side because of women I met while dancing. We exchanged numbers and the conversations went very long until they felt they "knew" me.... but not enough that we knew each other in our daily lives.

Most of the "dates" were what I'd call Boyfriend Experience (or Boy-Toy Experience). Typically it's women in their 40's or early 50's craving attention from a handsome guy or escorting them to a social event (if single).

Some were brave enough to tell me what they really wanted and it ranged from vanilla to wild shit I couldn't think of in my wildest dreams.

In a way being a male escort is easier (less demanding) but harder to find "clientele". I just accidentally stumbled into it because I was somewhat "in the industry" so in a sense they knew I wouldn't be clingy but that my time and attention "was for sale".

Not common; but it happens.
