Advise needed from tech wizards / gamers.

A guy I've been with a few times likes to play games while I do my thing. He does games like Call of Duty, grand Theft Auto, those kinds of games where he is able to talk to others. I don't care if others hear what's going on, but are they able to see? I don't know much about games or the consoles so any advice would help.
Edit: Thank you to those of you that answered. lt is a relief knowing that there isn't a cam as part of the console.
