Hi, I’m not a sex worker, just someone who’s tired of being broke, unaccomplished and demoralised.

I have a connection high up in the government that can make me a millionaire or even billionaire with a snap of a finger, can introduce me to the right people and so forth, but he’s made it clear for what in return and I’m just at a crossroads here, I don’t know what to do and would hope to talk to people who see sex as something that can be transactional. The path to accomplishment for me is to realize my vision, I want to be effective and powerful. I want to make Forbes lists. I don’t know if less would make me happier.

I’m weighing my options here and I feel like even though I’ve tried, my businesses will just keep sinking without funding, 2% of funding goes to women and that’s on a good year. What would you do?

Would you sleep with this person? Is the reputational damage as catastrophic as I’m imagining? do i have a lot to lose? am I letting women down everywhere?

Edit: 1. I think I must add. My business has the capacity to deal with billions in contracts. We have resources for agriculture, technology and skills development. We just don’t have the financial backing and/or government contracts, of which he has plenty. I hope you understand where I’m coming from. I’m not saying billionaire with nothing to show for it, I have the resources, just a lack of deals.

I’d also like to say thank you to those who gave advice this has been a very hard time for me, I’ve been in a state of depression since the past month or so, due to this situation, it’s been very conflicting and knowing what would really come out of it has helped me let go of the opportunity cost of those government contracts.

2. Also to those who think by saying “letting women down everywhere” means I look down on sex work. That’s not what I meant at all, I think sex work is consensual until it’s not, and this situation is coercive at its core.
