I didn’t and this is what happened. I decided I would take a client who wouldn’t complete my screening because I needed the booking to pay rent. Now I still don’t have that money, and I can’t work these last couple days to make up for it.
For you clients that get all up in arms about doing screening, this is just one of the reasons why it’s important for us to do it.
I’m so sorry. Can I ask if you had any inclination he was off by his communication you had with him or did he seem completely normal when booking? (I’m only wondering because sometimes they give themselves away pretty quickly and I’ve always felt so thankful for that, but I’m honestly fearful for the day someone seemingly normal comes in and pulls something like this).
