Providers, it brightens my day when a client compliments how delicate my epidermis is!
I go to the gym, inline skate, and live in the humid southern east climate so you can imagine I am taking up 2 to 3 showers a day at times. You would think showering so much would leave my skin "alligator-like".
If you struggle to keep your skin soft here is my routine:
My Soft Skin Care Routine:
Cleansing: I start with either a loofah or wash rag to ensure I'm gently exfoliating my skin.
Exfoliation: I use Soap & Glory to exfoliate, ensuring that dead skin cells are removed, revealing brighter, fresher skin underneath.
Body Wash: Depending on the day, I use either Dr Teals Body Wash or Dr Bonners Body Wash. Both of these are fantastic for leaving my skin clean and refreshed.
Immediate Moisturization: After washing, while my skin is still damp, I apply Bath & Body Works lotion that contains hyaluronic acid. This ingredient is known for retaining moisture and giving skin a plump, hydrated look.
Seal in Moisture: To lock in the moisture, I use a sealant. Depending on my mood, this could be Coconut Oil, Body Oil, or Shea butter. This ensures that the moisture is retained in the skin for longer periods.
UV Protection: Throughout the day, I make sure to apply sunscreen, which is crucial to prevent premature aging and skin damage. I also wear long sleeves as an added layer of protection against UV damage.
Aloe Vera: After applying sunscreen, I layer on Aloe Vera Gel. This not only cools the skin but also has soothing and healing properties.
By following this routine, my skin remains soft, moisturized, and protected throughout the day. If you're looking to achieve the softest skin ever, give this a try!
