Anybody had awkward moments with clients where you almost want to run out even though they don't even come off dangerous?

I met up at a hotel with a first time client with references from another sw. I get into the hotel. Watching Fox News on the whole Trump stuff. Then he shows me his car in a picture on his phone and it's got a don't tread on me license plate. Then the news is still on & he's all getting upset saying certain people hate white people and screwing over Trump bla bla. Whole time I'm like I hope he missed the fine print where I put "all races welcome" on my ad! haha.

He then compliments my ass and makes the comment "black men must love you" I'm like oh god here we go. I then responded "all men love me is my hope" and I kind of change the subject but I was a little worried he'd keep going and make a big deal that I saw black clients.

Fortunately I made the appointment as smooth as possible but def won't be seeing him again. Just super weird vibes. Then I searched him on FB and def found far right type stuff!

So tip for the day. Even with references from other SW. Do as much research because the prior girls he saw probably didn't care but for me I'm very liberal, only date POC and hate racism!!
